Since joining Sapon Immigration, Kathleen has expanded her practice to include a wide range of employment-based immigration matters. Kathleen now fills a Senior Associate Attorney position, with a focus on TN visas, H-2A and H-2B seasonal worker programs, PERM processing and J-visas. Kathleen works closely with employers across multiple industries, including agriculture, food production, and manufacturing, to navigate the complex regulations governing temporary and permanent employment-based immigration.
Kathleen is dedicated to community service and has volunteered her time and expertise at free immigration legal clinics and has presented Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs to fellow attorneys. She has also provided educational presentations to members of Louisville’s immigrant community and has assisted new arrivals in Arizona by helping them navigate the U.S. immigration system and reunite with their families. To stay at the forefront of immigration law, Kathleen regularly attends national conferences, including those hosted by AILA, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC), and the Federal Bar Association.
Outside of her legal work, Kathleen is an avid birder, passionate about conservation, and volunteers at a local raptor rehabilitation center, helping to care for and release injured birds of prey.
