Understanding the 2026 Policy Updates

TPS has been involved in litigation for several years, but 2025  was a historical period for abrupt TPS revocations and litigation resulting in temporary stays of those revocations.  While many courts have delayed terminations, more recent decisions from the Supreme Court have granted the governments broader discretion to end these protections.
